October Rocks – Lets see what’s happening.

We start October with London Cocktail week from the 3rd to 9th October, over at Spitalfields the Cocktail village returns with pop up bars and more.  Over 18s Please!!!!

It’s the “Frieze Art Fair” on the 6th October; see world-class art from the best international galleries in Regent’s Park.

The big NFL game will be on the 23rd October and for the first time ever the NFL descends onto Twickenham Stadium, as the New York Giants play the Los Angeles Rams in the 2016 NFL International Series.  Kick-off is at 14.30pm.

Fancy a Night at the Museum, on the 28th October; take a journey of discovery through the wonders of the Natural History Museum’s collection, from 18.00 to 22.00

Spooky times on the 31st as Halloween arrives, the Grenadier Pub in Wilton Row claims to be one of the most haunted pubs in London and is said to have more spirits in the bar than behind the bar!!!!

Anyone like Chocolate? I do and that’s why  I will be going to Olympia between the 14th to 16th October to  enjoy “ The Chocolate Show”  this will bring together British and international brands as well as renowned artisans, chefs and cocoa experts; all there to share a passion for chocolate. YUM!

The whole of October celebrates the London Restaurant Festival which takes place in the capital’s best restaurants across the city. There are two main elements to the festival: Restaurant Experiences and Festival Menus.  Events like Restaurant Hopping tours to London’s Longest Lunch are on offer.

Something different! When next over in Greenwich consider The Greenwich Foot Tunnel, the foot tunnel provides pedestrians links under the river and are used by over a million people each year.

Silent Disco with a difference, on the 7th October you can dance in silence on the Cutty Sark also in Greenwich from 8.30pm but book ahead.

In this month October, in 1881 the Gun fight at the OK Corral took place, The Can Can was first performed in Paris in 1858 and in 2004 I Tunes reached 150 Million songs.

Did you know that the 14th October is World Egg day, On World Egg Day, events are held across the world celebrating the egg. Now that’s Egg-Citing J
